Agreeing a project
This website presents Vanguard Cut services. An enquiry or opening a payment link does not itself place an order. Before starting, we confirm scope, price, currency, schedule, deliverables and payment terms in writing. The specific written agreement defines the project, subject to mandatory legal rights.
Materials and brief
The customer supplies the agreed footage, photographs, text, brand guidelines and references and ensures the necessary rights and permissions for their processing and use. Materials should be accessible and technically usable. Issues affecting production or timing are discussed before proceeding.
Scope and revisions
The quotation should specify quantities, duration, formats, language versions and revision rounds. Send consolidated feedback with timestamps where useful. A new concept, additional footage or extra versions may change the scope; additional pricing and timing are confirmed before that work begins.
Schedule and review
Timing is confirmed after reviewing the brief and materials. Delayed assets, feedback or agreed payments may require a revised delivery date. The customer checks content, names, text and facts before approving publication. Report errors so that a correction can be arranged.
Price and payment
Payment follows the confirmed quotation. We agree the amount, currency, any advance payment and due date before payment. Use Goods and Services for PayPal service payments. Check provider fees and currency conversions before confirming. A payment link does not replace a quotation or invoice.
Delivery and usage rights
We deliver the files and versions listed in the agreement. The scope and start of usage rights and inclusion of editable project files should be confirmed in the quotation. Music, fonts, stock assets and other third-party elements remain subject to their licences and permitted uses.
Confidentiality and portfolio
White-label communication, branding and confidentiality are agreed before work starts. Portfolio publication of client work, names or confidential materials requires separate permission. AI tools and any transfer of materials to external services should align with the brief, asset rights and agreed confidentiality.
Cancellation and refunds
Request changes or cancellation in writing. Completed work, approved expenses and any refund are assessed under the agreement and applicable law. These terms do not exclude statutory consumer rights, including withdrawal rights where applicable. Requests to start work during a statutory withdrawal period require the relevant information and express request before work begins.
Storage and responsibility
Keep your own copies of source and delivered files. Do not assume permanent archiving unless agreed. Production services do not guarantee view counts, sales or platform approval of advertising. This does not restrict liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Questions and complaints
Email [email protected] with the project name and a description of any issue. We will seek to clarify the situation and agree a resolution. Updates to this general information do not automatically change an already confirmed project agreement.
